By Caroline Petrow-Cohen, Los Angeles TimesLOS ANGELES — Hollywood Hills resident Andrew Rudick is on a mission.Over the last three years, he’s submitted public records requests, retrieved case documents from the Los Angeles County Superior Court, spoken at City Council meetings and corresponded with government officials. He’s determined to get Donald Trump’s star removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Monthly payments for child care were 32% higher in September than the pre-pandemic average, according to an analysis by the Bank of America Institute of the lender’s customer data. There are ripple effects to the wider economy from the child care squeeze: Families shelling out for this service have been...

At least an inch is expected through most of the region, although “slightly less” might fall in the South Bay and “a bit more” could soak the coastal mountains, he said.“In general, it’s going to be heavy everywhere,” Gass said.Related ArticlesWeather | Photos: High surf pounds Monterey coast Weather | Photos: Waves batter Santa Cruz County Weather | Big surf slams Southern California beaches for exciting end to 2023 Weather | Watch: Monster waves crash into streets, cars, pedes...
